So there I was—
Standing in the kitchen, half-awake, clutching my mug like it was the Sword of the Spirit.
The morning hadn’t even started yet and I could already feel the battle brewing—
not the coffee… the conflict.
My phone buzzed.
My mind wandered.
My peace vanished quicker than my last donut.
And then, like some invisible whisper:
“You’ve got too much to do. You’re already behind. Nobody sees what you’re doing anyway.”
That voice?
That’s not my Shepherd.
That’s the hiss of distraction—
the same one that loves to show up before the first sip of caffeine.
So I stopped.
I breathed.
And I prayed, “Lord, before this day gets freaky, let me be Your little ninja.
Let me fight quiet battles that nobody else sees.”
Because here’s the truth:
Most of our wars aren’t fought on stages or livestreams—
They’re fought between the ears, over coffee counters and car dashboards.
They’re waged when we choose patience instead of pride,
grace instead of gossip,
peace instead of panic.
And in that moment—
in my kitchen dojo, wearing mismatched socks and bed hair—
I realized that even this was holy ground.
So the next time you feel that low-grade spiritual static…
Stop.
Pray.
Take your stance.
And remember—
Even freaky little ninja guys drink their coffee after they armor up.

Ninja Challenge:
Find one small battle today—
A quiet one, nobody else sees—
and win it with peace instead of panic.
